Also, shorter range trends will play a role over the Gulf. Most models showed 93L drifting westward over the Yucatan stunting development. However, it has mostly stayed offshore today, allowing for continued development if the system is more developed when it starts to move north, then the outflow will have no trouble bullying the weak PV out.

waiting for someone to come in here to say they have that feeling just like Ida and Katrina that it shifts west to Louisiana for the bingo card.

Beggars can't be choosers, and there are a whole lot of beggars for rain in Louisiana lately. Some of them have much bigger problems than their little yards looking brown.
