That camera looks to be at the end of the road at the circle. I rent that house there a lot. It is called Sunset Point. I see briefly see a blue porch being tossed around in the surge there. I think that is Sunset Points porch.

That’s bad. That canal goes in about 300 yards to the main boat loading area and the marina. That looks to be a water level rise of 10-12 feet. My friends house is tucked back in there about 1/4 mile on a canal. His house sits on 16 ft tall concrete columns.

I pray that there is no lives loss and minimal property damage. Insurance on the gulf coast can’t take it anymore. Maybe the government should put some of the $100 Billion of the Ukrainian money into the gulf coast insurance crisis?

Cedar Key got a bit of storm surge but the eastern eyewall collapsed and they didn’t get the high winds or the rain.
