aren’t they half the time rain wrapped too? The several in Florida just look straight out of Tornado Alley or something
This is similar to Beryl with how that outer band has come in as a broken line. You basically have a bunch of mini supercells that are all spinning. The ones with a lot of room to work have very little rain with them.
ETA: As they move north they are merging, and that is where they heavy rain will be the worst.

The Canadian's Avocado tree just had a big limb snap off during a gust.
She's not thrilled with Milton.

Power outages up to 158K
Power outage.us is showing over 197k now, Indian River county is the worst so far with 93% outages. Indian River is on the east coast so I assume it was tornado induced.

McDill AFB 37 mph gusting to 52 mph
Whitted Airport St. Pete - 54 gusting to 66 mph (highest gust so far)
Things will be picking up soon.

The tornado down in farms I had to warn people about. Then my power went out, now it's back on

From the radar I am looking at, it looks like he may make it to shore pretty soon.
Looks like he is heading more easterly than northerly and kicking up speed. Could split between Venice and Sarasota. Unless he is wobbling.

Overturned cars. Destroyed roofs.

On an entirely unrelated note I just nearly knocked myself out a few minutes ago on the damn refrigerator/freezer door handle. Caught the corner right on top of my head, and it was one of those where the lights flickered for a few seconds. shite hurts.

Gotta add in some more commercials… they only have 12 minutes of actual weather coverage per hour
