I have family with twin 4 year old girls at Disney World Orlando this week. Can’t get a plane ride out and there are no rental cars available. Apparently they are stuck, going to have to ride it out. I wanted to see opinions on how bad it’s going to be in Orlando.
There are much worst places to be stuck. The hotels are built to withstand hurricanes and they have generators (and their own electric facility). The storm should be weakened a bit by the time it gets there (could still be a hurricane).

Ask him if you can have his money if he doesn’t make it. Tell him you love him and you see him in the next life.

How old is he??

The homes on West Retta Esplanade along Charlotte Harbor took 4ft for Helene. Those are the first line of houses. If they took on water from Helene I don't understand staying. I imagine Milton is going to be a lot worse for those houses.

That is exactly where one of them lives. The other lives in Pirate Harbor. I am praying they leave.

When did Biden call him to offer assistance, since that is the president's job. Or are you referring to the political posturing that Harris was doing by calling him?

Just ignore him.

Where?

I guess i could have worded that better.. I love tracking storms and haven’t had a chance to monitor the storm because I’m traveling today.. GA to SATX

Was just wondering if I missed anything or if something big was coming again like yesterday

He heard this on Sirius/ XM progress, MSNBC, NPR or CNN. Useful idiots look for the talking points quickly. Hell, it was probably all over the alphabet propaganda networks too.

1) Desantis has one million percent got his shite together. His pressers are amazing to hear

2) My stomach is in knots for all of those in the path of this. Praying for everyone’s safety.

When did he refuse government assistance?

IIRC, in an interview when the news of the Appalachian flooding was coming in, he said Florida could handle Florida. Federal emergency response could focus elsewhere.

Ron sent 8 different agencies to WNC.

I suppose at least some of those have been called back.
