re: Higher Education at a Christian school.

My daughter graduates next May. She’s been a heavy lean to Arkansas, but considering Ole Miss, TCU and some other schools. Just rececently, I’ve been pushing her to my Alma mater, Ouachita Baptist University. It still has a strong Christian influence and the quality of kids that attend OBU are as good now as they were in the late ‘80’s and early 90’s, if not better. She’s going premed, OBU is know ahead of UofA in that discipline.
I would not worry as much for her if she ended up at OBU. It’s a good one.

If Popeyes were like Chik Fil A or Canes, they could probably quadruple their annual sales.

Popeyes in Texas are next level because they replace the big mamas with hard working Mexicans. Clean restaurants, decent service, fresh food. Incredible
Not East Texas, specifically Longview. There are two locations here that have to rank bottom two for fast food customer service. So why go there? The food is always great. It’s a weird paradox.
Married an older woman by 16 days. Next March will be 30 years.
Really enjoy these 2 guys calling games.

My Dad at a charity event, really taken with the green grapes, asked about it by one of the hosts and responded
“best grape I’ve ever laid a lip over”.

Takes his wife’s last name and then tries to come across as a badass in his bio. I can’t find a picture or video of this guy, wanted to see what a genuine cuck looked like.

Biden stated that Hunter has been sober for over 5 years. So whose bag of cocaine was found at the White House, the same weekend Hunter was in town. I bet he’s partying tonight, bring on the hookers and the blow. Hunter gonna be doing some fricking, and, a little sucking too.
More likely, he banged his real estate agent’s husband.
Play action?
re: Tailgating trailer stolen on LSU campus Saturday, Tigerdroppings find it in 7 hours
Posted by billyhog on 10/15/24 at 3:32 pm to Tiger Live2
I just want to know who hooked up to the stolen trailer at the thieves house and drove off with it. The owner or an OT’er?
I’m left with, who hooked up to the trailer at the thieves house and drove off with it, late last night, when the cops were in the area?
Thanks for the info, little worried about them.

I have family with twin 4 year old girls at Disney World Orlando this week. Can’t get a plane ride out and there are no rental cars available. Apparently they are stuck, going to have to ride it out. I wanted to see opinions on how bad it’s going to be in Orlando.
Many employees will receive a 25% wage increase as a result of the new law. California is one of the most expensive states in the country to live in. And more than half of its employees work in the fast-food industry.
More than half of the workforce in California is employed in the fast food industry?

Petrol and Diesel Powertrains | Hyundai Motor Europe
Hyundai diesel engines.
The fuel economy of Hyundai diesel engines (especially with the 48 V mild hybrid option) means they are a good choice for you if you drive a high annual mileage or cover a lot of miles on the motorway. Or if you require the higher torque of a diesel in your activities.
Watched that video three times, laughed harder each time. Solid entertainment.

He grew up in Westlake, OH, population 31,000, 91% white. The people up there have an interesting accent. Maybe he got it from his parents.

re: Longview Tx - good place to live?
Posted by billyhog on 1/31/24 at 5:50 pm to TexasTiger27
Been in Longview the past 20 years. It’s a great place to live and has seen noticeable improvement since first landing here, with future improvements planned. But the whole Longview/Tyler area is a good place to settle down. My only knock on Tyler is the traffic. It absolutely sucks.

I live in East Texas, Longview. Never saw this practice until about 5 years ago in Dallas. It annoys on the level of seeing someone, by the themself, in a car, with a mask on. It’s retarded.

Went to school with a girl named Della. She must be the only one with that name, which is a good thing.
