Damn near slept 12 hours. I hope liz is okay!
Glad to see mostly everyone in Florida doing okay!
Hopefully yall can get to some type of normalcy soon. I know this whole past week has been a pain the arse to Florida baws.

I am so glad that you Tampa bay folks are doing ok health wise and everyone else so far.
Looking at Teco.com looks like our place still has power. So we can head back as soon as this storm heads more north. In hindsight we probably would of been safe at my friends house that was more inland, but wasn't worth the risk to me.

I just checked Liz's fb. No new posts yet. She has a few people that have posted on her fb asking if she is ok.
Maybe she has no cell signal anymore?

BIL and his GF in Tampa made out fine but no power. Wife's parents in Plant City, 30 minutes east of that, fine WITH power.

I hope she's okay as well, and I've got a suspicion she won't go through another one if given the chance.

Or at least be a little better prepared. In her defense I think she said they just moved into the house, they should have at least had a generator.
Hope she's okay.

Should be a mandatory 5 years if convicted of this shite. No exceptions.

That's was a cool video. Great location and angle to catch that

It's interesting to see how these things explode once they can't maintain their eye/closed center of circulation.

Florida Power & Light Outages
Last update:09/11/2017 08:00 AM
Out 3,602,070
Restored 636,610
Affected 4,238,680
Number of Customers 4,904,060
Tampa Electric has about 327,000 customers without power (45% of their customers)
Hang in there those of you without power. I've been out for nearly a week several times in SE LA. Like Tom Petty once sang, the waiting is the hardest part.
If you don't have a generator and you have young children, you're better off not rushing back since schools are closed, etc. unless you have to get back to work.

This is my parents house this morning in the Kissimmee/Poinciana area. It never floods there. Barely covered the street for one of the hurricanes back in 2004. Never lost power.
(FYI, my mom evacuated but my stupid aunt from Memphis who's never been in a hurricane wouldn't leave. That's how we have the pictures.)

All good here in Vero Beach. No power yet. Went through 8 or 9 tornado warnings yesterday. About 10 miles from Ft Pierce who got over a foot of rain...everything drained by this morning.
