Pay absolutely ZERO attention to down votes. There are people that down vote for the strangest reasons or for no reason at all. It may be personal, it may be just some idiot doing it for fun.

I stopped even looking at what I get if it isn't something important to me.

ETA: I just read the entries in question. It seems you managed to accomplish 2 things per entry. 1. help others. 2. give the lurking idiots something to do.

Some guy has a good sig statement. It's something like down votes means he must be doing something correctly.

Is it just me or is she moving a good bit more east than they forecasted? Looks headed straight for the Florida/Ga line at the coast to me but maybe I'm just dumb

Yep.

Side note: That movement puts Unknowingknight's arguments about the cone of projected path to bed. It appears the cone could be wider if anything.

So im headed into work early in Atlanta this morning. Our office said they arent opening until midday but I think thats actually the wrong timing as condintions in Atlanta will deteriorate later in the day as we start catching actual outer bands.

Oh well! Here goes nothing! Tropical storm warning? Dont care...still working

I've never seen a storm with the size of Irma.

Ike was huge too. I remember pictures of it covering almost the entire gulf.

I'd stay for a couple more hours, Lew. I stayed in Jacksonville because I have to go in tomorrow and driving back today wouldn't have been a option. I think maybe I should be just gone to Atlanta.

Bad time to joke .......but if Irma could rid us of Florida Georgia Line, that would be great.

For those still here I'm glad y'all are good. Sorry to the poster with water in your house due to roof being wrecked. Hope you and yours are ok.
