Again if anyone trying to go north in Florida try US1. I've gotten up to near st Augustine from west palm beach and I left this morning at 8. Going to regroup in jville tonight and see what she's doing before heading west

Transmission lines from somewhere less vulnerable would have been a better idea.
Why wouldn't they build it on Lake Okeechobee?

Building a nuclear plant on the ocean on the southern tip of Florida which is basically hurricane alley near a major city.
What genius thought this was a good idea?
Well, if you needed to build a nuclear power plant to supply all of South and Central Florida, where would you build it? In the middle of all the people?

SC Governor has a live update at 2pm for you SC baws.
He was shooting from the hip yesterday, hopefully he's a bit more ellloquint with his words this afternoon. But it's McMaster so who knows.
Not to get political, but that guy is a total clown. Looks like your typical state-level hayseed politician who backed into being Governor. Being from Alabama, I have developed a nack for spotting that type.

The temperature of piss ranged from 94 degrees to 96 degrees Fahrenheit per Google.
A cold hearted bitch's piss is lower than that though but a pissed off woman's is 10 degrees hoter than that range. I read this on the internet so I know its true.

AF305 did a 5th pass through the eye (overachievers)
about 1 hr 20 min between eye dropsonde drops
movement: +0.1 N +0.4 W
pressure 922 mb (1 mb drop from 4th pass)
overall movement during mission... +0.7 N +1.5 W

A friend in east Texas about sixty miles inland lost 108 of their 110 pine trees in Hurricane Rita. Only five hit their house.

Still room to trend farther west over the next couple of days.

I am not trying to say I told you so, but I told you so. This MF'er is going more west than WNW and this model update looks to confirm that.

rds should Tampa be concerned by this new model run?
If the trend is moving back West this would put them under the gun no?

wouldn't a further shift west even be worse for miami? isn't the strongest part of the storm the NE part?
