He's pretty witty so it would make for good entertainment. However, no sheds where he is so I'm not sure what kind of material he would have to work with.

I wouldn't sweat it in Jville. And the nice thing is you'll have plenty of time to leave

The impact will be like it was for Matthew last year if it takes the path right off the coast.

That's a relief.

acksonville is going to be fine. It's in a great location. This storm has two option for Jacksonville. It will either go straight up the peninsula which means it will be much much weaker when it gets to Jacksonville. Or it will stay right off the Florida coast and with the way the coast goes a bit concave at Jacksonville it will keep the city away from the center of the storm. The impact will be like it was for Matthew last year if it takes the path right off the coast.

Can you tell me who's going to win the Super Bowl?

That's what's going to happen. I don't get the push back that received. You're hoping for death and destruction if you don't think Jacksonville is going to be fine.

The storm will also be moving fast and won't be a heavy rainmaker.

It will be worse than Matthew if it hugs coast, much bigger storm.

Bigger flood threat from storm surge for sure.

He's right about the concave nature of Jax. We pick up some valuable distance from the path just due to the geography if it tracks along the coast.

I buy fasteners and anchors for some of our protection products from a place in Miami; they said they sold 2 million wingnuts yesterday

People going to put up storm panels and they cant find their wingnuts.

If it crosses us there will be lots of destruction. We need it to head out to sea for that concave advantage to come into play.

That's a good thing since a 5 day model has a 100% chance of being wrong.

Problem is that he's evacuating to his mom's condo in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Tell him to get on I-10 and go west at least 80-100 miles. Bunking down in a cool condo right in the path is not good.
