That's right in Red Hook on the East side- stayed right around there earlier this year. Won't look the same tomorrow.

What you just said is not good for Florida, right?

Dudes pretty lucky to be sailing with her.

That's Tortola. Much different shape than Virgin Gorda.

Hard to beat the NHC at this range. Looks like most of the 12z guidance has shifted back SW a bit to line up pretty closely to the official forecast track.
Yeah I have to say I agree 100%.
Btw, appreciate all the input from my dumb questions.

Are there any live feeds still up on these islands?
Posted on 9/6/17 at 12:13 pm to terd ferguson
The only live feed I can find now is St. Croix which is 40 miles south of St. Thomas.

She's still blogging from St. John, USVI as of an hour ago. But I don't think she ever had a live feed.

quote:I keep seeing this in this thread. Where I live right now in a coastal city: the tap water is tainted. No one drinks it. We buy water to make coffee. Not everyones water is good from the tap like it is in other States.
Why freak out over bottles water when a person can just fill up jugs and bottles with tap water ahead of time?

Albeit a very slim chance
the chances are looking better and better each run
This last run moved it back west to hitting Miami where the previous one had it off the Florida east coast.
I think the models will stay within the current cone. Out to sea isn't likely neither is a gulf threat. Anyone from Orlando south needs to gtfo today

That seems like a worst case for the east coast of FL.

I don't know why anyone in Orlando would evacuate to be honest. I hope they don't because there is no reason for them to and they may just be clogging up the roads for people on the coast that really do need to GTFO.
