Yeah. One little piece of roofing tin comes flying in it at 125 mph it could kill whoever it sliced into.
Yeah, and any of the nicer houses have Spanish Tiles which fly around like shooting stars as well.

They'll be back to getting tourists in like a month or two at most. They will do everything to get those areas back up and running as fast as possible.
Everyone else it will take a really long time.
Dumb question I am about to ask. If Miami-Ft.Laud were impacted or even GA/SC. With Harvey already making materials scarce, wouldn't this impact materials making its way down to some islands?

Key word.
I'm not saying they won't recover, but they just lost a season or two.

west shift again, although riding the coast hundreds of miles would be quite devastating.

My firm is still finishing marine surveys and coastline inspections from Matthew and now this bitch is turning this way.
There are still 2 sailboats that after Matthew were left in the marsh by the bridges over the Ashley River going to/from downtown and James Island/West Ashley. I see them everyday going into work. Maybe Irma will push them back out into the water.

We will see. They tend to come together in those small islands better than the US. LOL
I cant imagine what that wind was like.

The storm tracks within the cone with 70% probability right?
So, there is a chance we may be spared? Plz?
How eff-ed is Charleston?

I remember having these same conversations last year with the other SC people. Except they weren't as bad. Ugh I guess I'm headed out this time. Just depends on when my clinic closes I guess...
