Based Lep made a joke about left coast cities falling into the Pacific Ocean and then unprovoked later in class he was like.. I’m gonna apologize for that joke I made earlier about west coast cities. I was like lol I agree with you.

I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus, but early in the year someone said this in response to projections for an above-average Hurricane season:

quote:

And they’ll be wrong.

There’s a bunch of climate alarmists running these government organizations.

It set off a shite storm of an argument about forecasters that went for a while.

Add this one, too:

quote:

Whenever they say this, we never get any.

And this one:

quote:

It’s literally the exact same predictions these exact same clowns were lobbing up a decade ago. It’s recycled bullshite reported by a completely biased media that only cares about driving hype and securing clicks.

Central America is really vulnerable this is bad. I have a feeling a lot of people will die over there.

This is garnering quite a few comparisons to Hurricane Mitch....which killed 11,000 people in Central America. Let's hope it gets out of Central America quicker than predicted.

Not as good as Goni a couple days ago, but pretty stout nonetheless.

@NHC_Atlantic

quote:

Water is a serious concern with #Eta. Storm surge could be as high as 12-18 feet above normal tide levels along the #Nicaragua coast, and rainfall could be up to 35" for portions of Central America. Both hazards are likely to cause catastrophic damage.

Looks like the LSU/Bama game may be in jeopardy. In all honesty, may be a good thing.
