The oil markets don't believe Dorian will get in the gulf either. Oil is down 2.75% to $55.15.

So that’s why we should just let the three or so folks who know their shite do the image postings and explaining what is happening.
No need for every person who finds a set of model runs to run here to share and screw up the thread with their half asses attempt at a prediction.

So Disney just holds their employees hostage while a CAT 4 hurricane pounds the coast just East of them?

Let’s not act like this is coming through Orlando as a Cat 4

As of right now it’s going to make landfall pretty far south of Orlando. And Disney World is far inland from the coast. It’s like Baton Rouge.

I was supposed to be heading for LOOP on Tuesday but they put us on standby this morning. Waiting to see what it does before they commit to our travel.

Yea I’m not arguing, everyone knows who knows their shite in these threads.

Somebody made an observation based on ensembles and some of us agreed that’s what it looks like, doesn’t mean it will happen.

I'm not sure holding hostage is the right term I mean hell they could always quit....but if your asking if people will be working at/getting paid to be at Disney during the hurricane then the answer to that question is unequivocally yes.

ETA I'm sure there will be guests in the resorts as well...although I'm sure the parks will be closed to guests during the storm.

Hypothetical: Disney Northshore comes to pass in the sixties, and by the 2000s IT is the Magic Kingdom. Katrina devastates the LA-MS coast, bodies are floating in the streets of New Orleans, and as soon as the wind dies down, Disney cranks up with business as usual. What would the reaction have been?

Disney World would have never been successful in Louisiana so that’s a moot point.

UCF closing up on Tuesday. Desantis saying this suckers gonna hit as a 4 with 140mph winds.

Getting real.

I may visit friends in JAX.

Dorian > Katrina (only a 3, 125mph)

What are the chances it passes through FL, gains strength in the gulf, and makes a beeline for Biloxi?
