More retarded crap heard on the news in Wichita.

“Dorian could get back in the gulf where it could make a secondary landfall anywhere from Alabama to Georgia”

I really wish I could make something this stupid up.

Eating some stable air for sure. Drier air south of PR getting pulled over the mountains. Will be less and less of a problem
Problem?!?

Don’t you mean “less of a help”?

I'm going to talk in terms of health of the storm, just the way I'm used to approaching it. I'm always hoping for the worst thing for the health of the storm.

I sent them an email accusing them of plagiarizing the work of the NHS. I didn't expect an answer, but it must have struck a nerve; they replied, and the discussion was on.

I don't watch them enough to know if they still claim to be "The Hurricane Authority" or not.

Just checked wiki, and she turns 73 this November...tempus copulatum fugit...

Supposed to have a connecting flight in Ft. Lauderdale Saturday at 1130am. Thoughts on the chances of that happening considering the current model forecast? At departure time, it appears on the models that the eye would be approx. 300 nautical miles from Ft. Lauderdale. At what point do airports shut down?
