So our 4 day cruise from port canaveral to the bahamas turned into a 6 day to mexico... and now we are returning to port as I type... in New Orleans.
No clue how to get back to Atl today so if anyone can tell me where to find some ghost in the machine and good grub near port I’d appreciate it (serious)
No clue what we are gonna do but whattup Louisiana.

Looked like a boat I hadn't seen before here. I guess this explains it.

Oh, and to answer your other questions: Hit up Cochon or Cochon Butcher, or maybe Peche. All are walking distance from the ship. You could venture a tad bit further (still walkable but a bit more of a trek) if you want some Ghost style locally brewed beer and go see the friend of the Foodboard, Scott, at Courtyard Brewery.

Rusty Nail for Ghost if you want a bar. Rouses on Baronne if you want a 4 pack.

This. There is nowhere on earth that is safe from any type of disaster event. We could be hit by that asteroid next month and be mostly wiped out.

Live where you enjoy. shite happens in life, death happens and we move on. Things get destroyed and we rebuild. It is the cycle of life

It takes a lot to strip a palm. Don't see a single bit of green on them. It's no wonder any structures there would be flattened.

Just hope those poor people got somewhere, if anywhere could be, safe.

Gonna have to be by boat because I dont think the airfield will be operational by any means.

You can probably get some Coast Guard Helo's in there for critical (and I think the USCG is doing exactly that atm).

Well you certainly got your money’s worth with that cruise.

I’m sure they will arrange a flight to ATL and an airport shuttle.

Have fun today.

Just out of curiosity, on which side of caution would you like the governor to err?

I'm guessing there is nothing left at Disney's Castaway Cay
