Yes HUD does a lot of financing for less affordable properties, but I promise you'd be surprised by the amount of luxury apartments built using HUD $$$

In time, every apartment complex becomes a rundown slum. Condolences on your new neighbors.

He doesn’t. He hates Democrats which is why he doesn’t want people with mental disabilities moving into his neighborhood.

We were looking to move way before this but Laura kinda blew up the housing Market.

Wouldn’t that mean you can also sell your house for a much higher price, too, or is this new development impacting prices already?

One small hope is that the zoning be past one year

Sounds like you’re a candidate to move in.

Prayers sent. Better to just take the L and move, rather than risking your family’s safety.

I just found out some crazy religious anti-abortion group got a zoning variance to turn a house near me into an office for their bullshite. Curious what that does to the housing values on my street.

Note: we already have a bad apartment a block away so that hit already occurred when I was a kid. It's a lot better than when I was a kid, though.

You'd best get your for sale sign dusted off.

Sounds like it’s time to sell and move to Moss Bluff.

If the sewer doesn’t have capacity then the city will want the developer to pay for the upgrade. If they are getting HUD funding they probably don’t have the $ to upgrade the infrastructure so in the end you’re probably OK.

At least the crazy religious anti-abortion nuts won't be breaking into his house or car.

Enjoy the increase in crime rates. Incest in burglar bars.

Zoning was done already and it passed. We saw the sign a long time ago and the property was so narrow we assumed it to be a pipeline as they are upgrading gas in our area.

This is when you should have gotten involved.

Why would you put a complex to help them in a neighborhood with limited access, no hospitals, no public transportation... dumped in a corner with zero help off in the property to be forgotten and bilked for resources..

I incested with these window screens called "Larson Secure Elegance." Much more aesthetically pleasing than burglar bars. Mommy said so.
