How would your state fare in a war with each of its neighboring states?

No Federal involvement or allies. Mexico is considered a neighbor for Texas for this discussion. Canada for Alaska.
Bonus: Would your state do better to invade the neighbor or play defense and fight a war of attrition similar to Soviets vs Germany?

Louisiana. Play defense. Most heavily armed state last I checked.
Also we have tons of spies in Houston.
ETA: to clarify, we don't beat Texas. Our terrain, terrorist tactics, and their own indigenous invaders beat Texas.

I'm in Illinois.

The answer is defense to every state. I really don’t think there is much difference between the average baw from any southeastern state. South Florida would be the easiest target. Other then that its just a population thing. I certainly wouldn’t want to be in a raid party in rural Mississippi

Louisiana would beat Mississippi and Arkansas and then get swallowed by Texas, however; if we fight Mississippi and Arkansas first and then Texas fights the other neighboring states first, then we can hope they take a big enough hit to give us a fighting chance.

Pennsylvania's rural blue collar population would put up a good fight using guerrilla tactics.
Obviously NY's best fighters will come from upstate. The city is full of pansies who will probably refuse to take part in the fighting.

Are we able to do a state at a timeor is it all out war?
If it's all out war then each state would get divided. South LA would be against Houston area and South MS. I think LA would do better invading. North LA would get the bluffs of MS and Arkansas. Would be better holding off because that's what they would do. Invade North Texas.

That makes a yuuuge difference.
Tennessee would overwhelm us with sheer size and population if it's one on one.
If it's a free for all Tennessee has eight neighbors they have to fight, Louisiana and R-Kansas have to worry about Texas, and al-Abama has its hands full with Georgia.
