Nah...go to care.com, check out the caregivers in your are, and choose by looks.

Yeah I just looked at this site and the prices are reasonable, 15 to 25 per hour, and only one of them was really good looking and her profile picture is with her boyfriend (very smart picture choice btw). I'd check it out.

Just tell her? It is a valid conversation to have since you are actually working, it shouldn't be assumed you will be the main child care provider just because your workplace is at home. Her employer wouldn't let her bring the baby in with her, why should it be different for you? Plus you might want to check to see if your employer has a policy specifically stating their work at employees need to have off site child care, their kids in school, or an on site caregiver.

I think the OT should open up a daycare for all the Stay at home Dad’s around here. Don’t see what could possibly go wrong.

Without reading the thread, but I'm sure it's been said, you will not be able to find a nanny cheaper than daycare.

Hire a senior that needs money that is living on SS. That would be the only option at my house, like I would allow you to hire a 20 something.......

Not everyone wants to put their children with daycare workers all day. We didn't so we went the nanny route.

How do I suggest this idea to my wife without her assuming I’m trying to figure out a way to try to bang the babysitter?
Probably start by NOT telling your wife you want a 20-something your old woman, just a thought.

Out of curiosity does your wife “need” to work financially?? I stayed home when my kids were young it worked part time. It worked for us and I’m glad that I had that opportunity.

We paid our nanny a little under $50k and the kids still went to daycare. It was cheaper paying that then paying for the divorce bill.

I don't care how much money you make, that just doesn't seem like good money management.

Given your thread history on here, while I enjoy them, I’m not sure your wife will think you’ll be able to keep it professional

You need to send the child to daycare. I hired a babysitter with my first wife. Long story short I got the babysitter pregnant. Then she wanted to go back to work too so we hired a babysitter...

Let’s just say my third kid is going to daycare.

Daycare at 130-180 per week

Sitter at 30 hrs per week at 10 per hour.... Thats almost double man.

AND THATS IF you could find one that cheap.
