How old were you when you gave up on life and moved to the suburbs?

40...still inside the 610 loop in Houston!

I guess waiting in lines to take a bus to and from a parking lot then commute home from there is for some people. I prefer to use those 3 hours of my life for enjoyment.

You did this thread a few months ago. This is where you try to brag about how sophisticated and urbane you are. It's sad you crave this attention.

Here's your attention cool guy.

I'm never more happier than when I'm sitting next to my fat wife at my 8 year old's travel baseball game with a bud light in my hand and an 8:00 reservation at Cheddar's.

Never moved to the burbs. Took my horses and dogs and went strait to the sticks. Cane field living is the life for me...

I did the opposite. I grew up in the burbs and my wife and I lived in them for 10 years. Now I'm 41 and we live in the city. We just got tired of the 2-3 hrs a day commute. We pay out the arse for private school though.

You mean grew up and had real responsibilities that accompany a life of substance?

I don't even live in the country currently and I see them all the time in my yard.

29, not moving to a suburb, though. Moving to a small city.

If I move out of the city it will be to the country. Nothing against the burbs but not my thing.

I'm from the swamps. I moved to the burbs at 25. 13 years later ready to move on some acreage far away from neighbors and HOA's.

Burbs really aren't much different than city neighborhoods.
