re: How old were you when you actually enjoyed the taste of beer?

Easy at 14. Many at 12, but thunderbird was the drink. What's the word? Thunderbird. What's the price? 33 twice.

In high school a lot of my friends liked Bud Light and Michelob Ultra but I thought it tasted horrible. And I’ve never really been a big beer guy since. Mostly a mix guy.

17 or 18. My senior year of high school. That's also around the time dad started letting me have one with dinner on the weekends if I wasn't out doing hoodrat stuff with my friends.

I’m 25 and still don’t. Whiskey, rum, tequila and wine for me.

probably around 24ish when I discovered craft beer

I always have hated the taste of the light domestics, but I drank them because they were cheap and did the job in the college

I was 19 before I found a beer that I didn’t hate, 21 before I found a beer I actually liked. The reason is that I drank and ate way too much sugary soda and kool-aid when I was a teen, so my taste buds weren’t prepared for the flavor profile of beer. Now that I drink and eat way less sugar, beer tastes way better.

4 years old. My Dad would let me drink the foam off of his beers. He didn't let me smoke though, he flicked a cigarette butt out in the yard once and I picked it up and took a puff. He wore my arse out. Never did that again.

Senior year in high school probably. I remember fridging loads of different kinds of beers with friends and it would take me an hour to stomach a heineken after. Amazing how you can acquire a taste for almost anything.

I'm 29. Beer drinking is just a social circle jerk. No one drinks it because it "tastes good."
