I've got a kid that comes over once a month and does all my cars. I don't pay him, but I teach him karate on the side.

3 times in 8 years so once every 32 weeks.

I believe that would be months not weeks

The truck gets waxed every three months. The truck nuts get waxed weekly.

4 times/year
ETA: I wax the grill and headlights more often because of bugs. They come off with just snow foam.

It's a truck - it doesn't need to be washed or waxed.

8 years x 52 weeks/per year = 416 weeks/3 times = 138.667 weeks

I do it myself in November when it's cool and I pay to have it clayed/waxed/detailed when I get back from the salty beach 4th of July trip.

over 8 years there have been 2 leap years, so 416.26 weeks/3x = 138.76 weeks.

Invest in a ceramic coating and say goodbye to waxing. Just had my wife's car done and my truck is next.

Twice a year. Before summer and before winter.
