I watch tool/engine restoration videos almost every night before bed. Hand Tool Rescue is my favorite. Even my wife watches it.

Just depends what I'm doing. I love watching comediens and artists performances over just listening, so I put on youtube a ton in the evenings or at work there is just so much more content for that.

Mostly on my phone. I'm in it all the time now. Golf and food channels in the evenings instead of TV mostly, though a ton of DIY and other random shite as needed. I also put on space and science videos and fall asleep to them most nights.

I'm basically a hypnopedically trained astrophysicist.

I watch a lot on the computer and on TVs. A major reason why I have a premium sub. Lots of movies, 4K content, and just more interesting stuff than most other outlets. The Youtube content community has made real industry of top notch production qualities.

YT is by far the best social media to learn. Learn anything. Financial literacy? Coding? History? Sports highlights? How to fix car videos? How to do anything videos? Adventure videos? Music video from 1983 that you haven't seen for decades? What is it like to live on Antartica videos? How to replace camera on Iphone videos? Has it all

Mortske Repair and Vice Grip Garage have been two of my favorites lately. I watch a ton of documentaries as well.

I rarely watch "regular" TV. I watch live sports, stream a handful of shows on various streaming services, or watch things on YouTube.

I watch so much YT that I actually pay for it instead of getting a blocker and watching it for free.

Mostly when I need to fix the truck or learn a new skill. Like sanding a floor.

Watch Pluto.TV and Youtube videos most of the time. We have FUBO, but I seldom watch it and only have it for one of my sons that watches sports. Wife watches Netflix most of the time.

Youtube is so much of my entertainment that I worry what would happen if google starting charging for it. I'd probably pay $100/mo if I had to.

Probably 90% of stuff I watch is on youtube. My tv is pretty much only on a dozen Saturdays a year and I don't even really watch Netflix anymore.

Same. Other than Family Movie Night, I can't think of a single time I've turned on my TV for something other than football in the last year. Even live breaking news events are streamed online on YouTube, no need to pull up a news channel.

The Premium subscription I bought for myself for Christmas last year is a game changer.

It's about all I watch. I can't stand woke tv and movies, and most of them are jus terrible anyway. I can sit down and watch eight 15 minute videos and actually learn something or be entertained and not waste two hours on a movie that paid some communist prick $25 million to choreograph fight scenes.

During the college sports offseason, nearly every night. YT content is often miles ahead of most TV channels

I'm dumb and didn't realize until recnetly you could "pause" a YoutubeTV subscription and not have to pay until you choose to resume. Once basketball season is over in the spring I think I'll definitely be doing that. We can easily get by with just regular youtube and netflix when it's not peak sports season.

This is exactly what I do. I have it on now because it's an election year, but most years I just completely shut it off from mid April-late August. That's the real advantage over cable

ETA: Apparently I used my "20000th" post on this
