3 kids under 6. I bet I spend over an hour a week looking for the damn thing. Been watching firestick for over 24 hours due to cable remote missing. Who knows where it is, 4 year old and 13 month old could have put it anywhere.

Is there a first world problem of the day more frustrating then putting the kids to bed, sitting down, going to grab the remote, and being unable to find it?

Remotes need a locator alarm you can trigger by pushing a button on the box.

All the time but I stream everything through a Romu ultra that has a remote finder function. Press a button and the thing beeps until you find it

Our Roku has a remote locator on the box. You just push a button and it makes the remote beep. Unfortunately our TV doesn't have the same feature. My kid loses the remote daily.

My wife loses it all the time. It will fall into the recliner gaps, get wrapped up in a blanket, get carried into another room, get left in the kitchen, you name it.

Never. Have A handful of DirecTV remotes. Any of them work all of the TVs.

Often at my house.

As a youth when we had one TV my sister hid the remote for 2 days so she could decide what got watched and when. Bitch!

All of this. I beg them to just keep it on the arm of the couch, but they don’t.
