In the past, I used to lose the remote so much that last year I decided to keep track how many times I lost the remote in one year. Turns out, last year I lost the remote 350 times!

It would randomly disappear enough that I finally attached a “Tile” to it. Now, I can find it super easily. Best $15 ever. I love those things.

There's no need for a cable remote when you have a firestick remote baw.

Godspeed though, my 5 year old loves to hide ours too.

As a youth when we had one TV my sister hid the remote for 2 days so she could decide what got watched and when. Bitch!

I used to hide the remote under the couch cushion before I went to sleep when I was a kid so I could get to it before my younger sister or my dad.

It really is "The never ending battle".

Between kids and couch cushions it's a hard knock life.

Me, never. My wife and kids? Every 20 minutes.

Was coming in to say exactly this. I’ve not lost the tv remote since college. My wife and kids on the other hand.... every time they touch it.

Never. I control the remote when I’m home, and when I’m not home, everyone knows where they belong.

All of this. I beg them to just keep it on the arm of the couch, but they don’t.

It sounds like you're beating them too lightly.

Only once. A Roku remote disappeared. I figured it was in my chair, so turned it upside down and searched the hell out of it. Could not find it.

The housekeeper finally found it inside the chair, basically in a hidden pocket that it fell in.

About 4 times a day. Gotta love it when a 1 year old takes things and move them someplace else

You are doing it wrong.

You always, always keep a spare in your night stand for when the wife or kids loose the remote.
Tv is all yours until they find the remote they lost.

Before long you will be hiding the family remote (behind toilets or between mattress gets you lots of tv time).

Your welcome.
