How much should I be concerned? (COVID-19 related)

My first symptom was loss of taste/smell since last Friday afternoon. I tested positive yesterday after going to a drive thru test on Monday. I'm 32. No indication my taste/smell is coming back at all.

Honestly wouldn't see much of a point in living if I couldn't taste good food. My life already blows anyway.

Seriously it's already been sort of depressing just dealing with this for a few days. I'm reading it could take up to two weeks to fully regain these sense (from someone I know in Canada that had COVID). But if I never got these senses back? What would be the fricking point.

Not concerned yet, but if you still can't taste or smell in a week I'd stsrt to worry about it.

99.5% of people aren't dying.. but I doubt there's been a real study on the number of people not regaining these senses. Especially since it wasn't an initially known symptom. Even my printout they gave me when I got tested doesn't list these symptoms on it.

Not dieing dumbest, not being able to smell or taste. A lot of people that had those symptoms haven't had their sense fully come back. Can you not read or are you too stuck in your talking points to be honest?
