I had about $350 in savings and $67 in checking.

Just out of law school, just started working, just got married, just bought a new house. Pretty much all the money we had saved went to the downpayment on the house. Most every penny we made was going back out for furnishing and decorating the house and fixing up the yard. I doubt I had more than $2k in hand at "the end of the month" the first year after we bought the house. The positive is neither of us had student loans.

Had $600 to my name when I graduated college. At 25, prob had around $3000 in a savings account. At 43, have zero debt, own my home outright, and am worth about 1.5 million.
Save baws. Even tho it doesn’t seem like much. Save, buy land, never touch your 401k, and never get a credit card.

Married too young. Bought a house too quickly. Watched its value tank in the housing crisis. Unhappy with my career choice but stuck because of the house. House was also far away from town and friends and we didn’t identify much with the area we lived in.
We had very little disposable income and lived on a budget.
My 20s mostly sucked.

probably like $45k to my name. Lived in New Orleans, sharing a house with 2 other guys. I could've bought a house earlier in life, but honestly I just enjoyed their company

I bought my first house at 26-27 around 2005 and sold it at a loss 7-8 years later. Luckily it was a fairly cheap starter home so we were able to absorb that fine at the time. I had started making a lot more money in my early 30s.

At 25, I graduated college (no debt) and got a divorce. No debt, no money, and no ex. As Meatloaf said, "Two out of three ain't bad."

We’d been married a couple of years and purchased our first home. We had our first son, and I sold my car to stay home with him. Absolutely lived paycheck to paycheck, but it was an incredibly happy time.

I had an extended college career and worked construction for my uncle while taking classes.
We made $6.00 an hour cash and were rich every Friday and broke by the next Monday.
So it depended on what day it was

I was doing really well at 25. Making bank selling IT. Still make a shitload, but having wife and kids and houses and cars and the rest eats into fun spending cash...and retirement

25 was 35 years ago. I can barely remember last week.

$0. Was still in school.

I spent my 25th birthday in Iraq as an IED sponge. These fake metrics are ridiculous, although at the time I had about $20k because the PX only sold cigarettes and Maxims for the jerking.

"Hurricane Katrina changed that for us. Although that technically hit before my 25th birthday"
we might share a BDAY. November 30th

Didn't have shite. But Katrina changed everything for me. There was enough construction work locally to pay my way through tech school. 2007 got on with the company I still work for.

I worked nights at the time so a ton of day drinking while playing call of duty. It was simple if nothing else
