A few hundred here and there but then a few hundred thousand after watching that video on building your own home.

Ten thousand at least.

Transom failed on my ski boat. Completely rotten. Pulled the drive, engine and transom housing. Ripped out the old transom, part of the floor and stringers. Replaced it all about 5 years ago and reassembled it.

Replaced the seats and reupholstered the the sun deck. I’m in the process of reupholstering the bow seats now.

All by watching YouTube.

I turned my dad on to those and he went out and bought an iPad. Never thought I’d see the day.

The handy man I am not, but financially, 5 digits at least.

Now, if we can quantify embarrassment from screwing stuff up, another 5 or 6 digits there too.

The only negative part about YouTube that has cost me financially is watching various people with similar hobbies as myself. I have to do/try/buy things they do that I would have never thought of on my own.

At the end of the day, YouTube is one of my go-to sites and I'm glad it is there.

A ton, primarily work on cars and motorcycles but also some plumbing and electrical around the house. Just watched (and installed) YouTube vids on replacing a garbage disposal the other day and another on installing audio (amp & speakers) on a motorcycle. I commented to a friend how YouTube is such a time and $ saver.

I am pretty handy by nature. I was raised in a blue collar family where we fixed everything that broke. Plumbing, appliances, vehicles, etc.

So YouTube has not helped me much there. However, I have saved tens of thousands (with YouTube) showing me how to troubleshoot newer technology like cameras, TV, etc.

I have bought so many electrical parts directly from China I probably look like a spy to the USPS.

I just fixed an old video camera for $2.98. Been rewatching my kids baby videos this weekend.

Not sure but it’s a lot.

Like most people who do this I always look of YouTube when I have an issue to see if I can do it myself.

I’ve actually made money building furniture for people as well.

Gobs. It's a life saver.

I have a Google Play Music account and YouTube Premium is one of the benefits that comes with it, which makes YouTube commercial free. YouTube is already awesome, but when you make it commercial free, it's even that much better.

Lots of car auto repair stuff. Last thing was a headlight replacement on a Buick Enclave. What is convenient is taking an iPad or laptop to the location and start/stop the video. Even good ideas on tools to use for the job is on Youtube.
