How much do you spend a month on groceries?

I was looking at the option on my credit card where it breakdown my monthly expenditure. I spent $512 on groceries for a family of 3, me, wife and newborn.

Probably 1200-1400 family of five. Don't know why it's so high compared to y'all.

We spent $686 in January. Family of 4.

I did make a large Costco run and got a fair amount of meat that’s sitting in the freezer so that kinda skews the figure a bit.

It averages around $450-$500 month

$650-$700 for a family of 4 (two young kids). It's our biggest expense besides the mortgage.

I guess it depends on where you live.
Groceries were waaay cheaper back in TX than Minnesota
