Hard $800. Budget $200/week and won’t go over. Family of 6. My wife’s pregnant so it’s getting harder and harder to stick to that budget!
You need to get that shite snipped.

I've got a $300 budget goal per week between the two of us and our 3(almost 4) year old. We basically never stay on budget. But that does include other stuff. I don't expect to stay under $300, it's just what I've set the number at so we know to slow down if we get there.
That was a hard goal to set because there were stretches where "we" spent $500 to $1000 a week on shite that wasn't necessary.

Man, what are y'all doing wrong? It's myself and my wife and our two kids, three and five and our grocery bill is around $300 or $400 per month. And we probably 90% organic which is a lot more expensive.

We have a cat to account for but all of his expenses go through my wife's work (vet office) so pet expenses not accounted for.

How you go about shopping, has a lot to do with costs.
I do most of the shopping at our house, and I will go to different places for different items. For instance: my daughter drinks a lot of juice, so I will go buy that at The Dollar Tree, it's less than 1/2 of the grocery store price, If I see a good deal on meat, I buy a lot of it and we freeze it. I Don't buy any chips or candy or junk food, no pizza rolls or hot pockets or anything like that.
Most everything we eat, has to be cooked. We buy a lot of The stir fry frozen veggies to cook with some kind of meat and rice. I really like beans and rice too,
This. This is why were able to keep a family of four under $400 a month grocery bills. That's going to three different places and includes toiletries. Walmart, Costco, Whole Foods.

For sure. Especially for beer because of the price per ABV.
I added up my brother-in-law and my neighbors alcohol Bill one time and they both came out between 3 and $400 a month just for beer and a little bit of wine for the wives..

Didn't used to but Walmart has the cheapest organic shite now. In order of priority, it's, Costco, Walmart, Whole Paycheck.

We do Walmart pickup for canned goods, cereal, garbage bags, frozen shite etc. Usually hit Rouses, Calandro's and the produce stand about twice per month for meat, fruit, vegetables.

Noka is the brand. He likes them better and they are double the calories on some of them. But they are $2.49 a pop at Whole Foods.

I just looked up Noka. Holy Crap. 2.49 is actually cheap, they are going for $3+ in bulk online. Im in the wrong business.
I thought I was getting fleeced on the $1 Stonyfields.

The reason I can't grocery shop at Walmart is because I always end up with an extra $60 of non- grocery shite from the outdoors or garden section.

My wife works within walking distance from Rouses so she goes almost every day to see what's on sale and makes a salad for her lunch.

lol I'll hit up fred Meyer too, they have one with a nice deli around here, and great meat selection with seafood I enjoy.
Just hate how nowadays when you walk into a market like that, there are 10 lanes with maybe 1 open..and everyone else clogging up self checkout.
