ETA: Mine rolls over. I have a shite ton left.
All of this. Last job I had (was there like 2.5 years) I just cashed out all my vacation hours. It was awesome. I take roughly 10 vacation days a year and roll the shite outta the rest of em.

50?!? I'm always giving my family a hard time for not taking them. What's the point of working if you don't enjoy your time off.
ETA: Of course if you can get paid for them when you retire then I guess it's 6 or a half dozen.

frick that. My wife's company is the same way. Our company wants everyone to use all their PTO each year. Besides being able to control the liability, they understand people would implode if they didn't get a couple breaks throughout the year.
We have a rollover policy of 40 hours until 6/30 of the next year. I've always gotten extensions when needed, but the purpose of that policy is not to screw people out of vacation, but to encourage its use.

100 hours=4 weeks plus one day.
Will spend most of mine fishing. Fall fishing is the best.

I have 31.5 days. They partially roll over. You can carry a max of double what you earn per year. I don't plan on using anymore now that summer is over. Maybe in December to extend my Christmas break.

I've used 20.75 vacation days so far this year... have 14.5 remaining as of now, will also accrue 3.5 more so really 18 left to use by the end of the year.
I'm sure I'll take a few days off around Christmas, and let the rest roll over.

Mine doesn't rollover, so I use all of mine every year.
I have one day left, taking it the Monday after Thanksgiving.

We don't have vacation, which is good and bad.
Good in that I can just pretty much do what I want schedule permitting.
Bad in that I probably take less time off than I would if I had a set number of days I could use.

I have unlimited vacation,
I plan on taking the week before and of thanksgiving off and then the two weeks for Christmas and new years.
I plan to play an absurd amount of golf.

2 weeks left to use or lose by December 15th. Probably going to cash one in.

I have 22 days right now, but mine roll over.
I'm using 11 days around the Christmas/New Years holiday on a trip to Hawaii.
I've gone on 3 different 4 day weekend trips this past year, all were fun (short) and not trashy. One to Denver/Vail for hiking and visiting friends in the city, one on a trip to NYC for a guy's trip to visit a friend who recently moved there, and the last on a bachelor party in Austin. I'll probably take another one soon to go to Tuscaloosa for the LSU game.
