Driven through: 32
Spent more than a day in: 22

Favorite is California because you can spend one day at the beach and the next skiing in the mountains. Also, great beer scene

Can we set up a rule?

Passing through a state or staying at a state's airport doesn't equal being there as you have very little experience to rate it...

I've been to all of the Confederate States and a handful of yankee ones. I guess my favorite as far a scenery goes would be the Appalachia area.

30 or so without actually looking into it. My favorite is probably Colorado since I ride motorcycles and have been up in the Rockies 3 times over the years riding through them on my bike.

I've also ridden in the Smokies and Ozarks and heading to the mountains for long rides is one of my life's pleasures.

My rule has always been "walked on soil, grass, snow, etc." I agree that passing through an airport does not count. Nor does, say, driving through the corner of a state and not getting out once.
