Did 25 pull ups and 25 chin ups yesterday but I’ll admit it: I broke them up in to 10, 10, and 5

I always laugh when I see posts like this.

Trust me when I say this board is waaaaaaaaay more normal now compared to back in the early days.

17 from dead hang position

I couldn’t do one not long ago.
It’s not uncommon for people not to be able to do one.

Never could do pull ups.
Even way back during basic training I’d struggle with pull ups.
And I was stronger and a lot thinner then.

Pull up or chin up.

Chin up, two without any leg movement.

Muscle ups? Zero.

Always been zero

under or overhand? that being said my pull up game is shite. i consider myself above average to good shape with a lot of strength training. i can lat pull down more than my own weight for multiple reps, but can barely squeeze out 1 overhand pullup.

then there is what you consider a pull up. that crossfit bullshite doesnt count.

At one time, about 12 years ago, 25-30. These past few years around 10-12, but this year tennis elbow has been lingering and it's been a bitch. Getting old sucks!

I haven't tested my max in a row. I typically do 40-45 a day.

0.0. I have to use the rubber band. It’s quite embarrassing at the gym.
