Just one.
A girl I went to high school with was killed in a murder-suicide last year.
Her husband was a cop, killed her and then shot himself. They had young kids together that were in the home. Very sad situation.

About 5.
4 of them were murdered in BRLA.

Two that I can recall.
One was a victim of serial killer Derrick Todd Lee.
The other was an acquaintance's mom killing his dad.

I knew a guy in high school who was shot execution style during a drug deal
I didn't know her, but my wife testified in a trial where a girl she went to school with stabbed her own mother 50 times; it was a pretty big case and has been on 60 Minutes and other shows several times. She actually just recently got out, she moved to NYC I believe or we could have had the potential for an awkward run in at the grocery store

More than I can count
1. Buddy of mine named D’Angelo went to jail and was strangled. He was a good guy - probably too good hearted to make in in there.
2. A coworker, went by Stringer, got mixed up in some bad business deals and was shot in the chest.
3. Another acquaintance, Brodie, was shot in the head on a street corner by a drug dealer.
4. Guy who lived down the street, Omar, was shot in the head in a convenience store by a damn kid.
These are just the most memorable ones. Every day I wake up feels like a blessing.

Have an Uncle that blew my Aunts brains out. They had been married for 26 years. Came home one night on the late shift and shot her while she was sleeping. The old frick is still rotting down in south Florida.

Sounds like the dad did a horrible job of parenting and might've inadvertently got himself killed by allowing such a shitty attitude grow within his son. Maybe theres a lot of details missing though.

I have known a few. But the closest was my wife's youngest brother. He was 18 and got shot between the eyes at point blank. He got his girl friend pregnant so they got married and moved in with her father. One day they got into an argument so she called her dad. He wasn't at the store he owned with his brother, so his brother went over with a gun and shot him. The Uncle who shot him never spent a day in jail.

I only know of 1.
It was a girl that I had “talked to” while in high school, still kinda knew each other because I was friends with a lot of her friends and I ended up dating her cousin. Anyway, years later she was a nurse and was fricking around with a married murse. I don’t know the whole story behind it, but he murder/suicided her and himself. This happened in Lake Charles probably about 5 years ago.

I don't know anyone, but in the 70's my dad's best friend was murdered. He was changing a tire on the side of the road and someone came up and just shot him in the head. This is the kicker: he had confided in my dad (and other friends of his) that his marriage was on the rocks and his wife had threatened his life multiple times and said she knew someone she could hire to murder him, if she really had to. Police ruled the murder a robbery gone wrong (and they never got who did it), but consensus amongst my dad and his friends was that his wife had him killed.

My first through third wives all disappeared.
My friend Tina Kristynik was murdered by a serial killer and dna caught up ton him 25 years later.
My friend Leroy got killed in a drug deal.
My boy Garafalo was murdered at BQuick a few summers ago.

A guy I went to high school with was robbed of a petty amount of cash and murdered.
My dad's friend was murdered by a woman who drank and obscene amount of alcohol and decided to drive into incoming traffic on Airline.
