1. Buddy of mine named D’Angelo went to jail and was strangled. He was a good guy - probably too good hearted to make in in there.

2. A coworker, went by Stringer, got mixed up in some bad business deals and was shot in the chest.

3. Another acquaintance, Brodie, was shot in the head on a street corner by a drug dealer.

4. Guy who lived down the street, Omar, was shot in the head in a convenience store by a damn kid.

These are just the most memorable ones. Every day I wake up feels like a blessing.

A guy I worked with in high school at a restaurant called Fargos Pizza in Colo Spgs. He was much older and was the maintenance and game room guy.

Hadn't heard his name in 20 some years, but some kid who was staying at his house beat him to death. Evidently the guy I knew was letting this kid stay with him because he was homeless in exchange for sex. The kid got pissed and beat him with a baseball bat, which was caught on film because the dude I knew had put in hidden cameras in the bathroom where the murder took place.

The kid got 20 years, which I thought was BS. The kid was basically being taken advantage of by a pedophile and snapped.

Me too, the Baltimore name reminded me of the NE where she was.
Seems her future husbands family wasn't liked by someone. Tampered

Derrick Todd Lee was weird for me because of all the connections I had. Mrs Pimp grew up , was good friends and rode the bus with his first victim Randi Mebruer in Zachary. I grew up and was friends with Gina Green’s husband Mark. Dene Colomb’s family was a client of mine. I used to see Pam Kinamore all the time at Parkview Baptist. I mean what are the odds of four personal ties?

Member of my graduating class got shot in the head in the front seat of his car during a drug deal gone bad.

A friend of my mom was killed by her boyfriend in a murder suicide.

Also know a murderer, the guy went to our school was supposed to be in our graduating class but he dropped out. He shot 2 guys, killed one. It was over drugs.

I can't think of any. I knew a few that overdosed or committed suicide. That's all I've got.

A few people I went to HS with got killed by a fellow classmate the summer after we graduated. I saw one of the victims a few weeks prior at college orientation. The shooter ended up being killed later on

Known a few. The one that sticks out was an old neighbor. She was working at a restaurant while in college. They found her car but no body. A few years later, some hunters found her remains. A cook at the restaurant she worked at was the suspect, but it is still a cold case.

I do know a couple guys who killed some other people in a drug deal gone bad. There was a car chase, and the victims’ car ended up in a church parking lot. The murderers got out of their car, shot the other people in their car and then caught the car on fire.

Some trashy country folks from Vermilion Parish murdering some gangster Asians from New Iberia.

Sounds like the dad did a horrible job of parenting and might've inadvertently got himself killed by allowing such a shitty attitude grow within his son. Maybe theres a lot of details missing though.

Yeah, I'd like to read more about this one. Blowing your dad's head off is quite a leap from just not being allowed to take the car out. I don't have a terrible father though.
