I'll be in the minority here, citation X, and i still fly commercial first class by choice if going to a larger airport with lots of flights. For some reason i'm more nervous sitting in the smaller jet and with the pilots. I do like the walk on 1 min before wheels up aspect of the X if you are in a hurry.

Going through customs is nice.. you stay on the plane and the border patrol boards your plane. You pass your passports up to the front.. he calls out your name.. ask a few question and gives you your passport back. When done you step off the plane and usually have a car there . They can bring the car to the plane…
Had big plans until that person from Florida got my ticket last night.

Many times. Our corporate jet was a Dassault Falcon. Like mentioned it will make you hate flying commercial.

I have, it wasn’t memorable. It was for a work thing a long time ago. It wasn’t one of the private jets that are portrayed in movies.
The biggest perk was how easy the takeoff/landing process was.

I have from Baton Rouge to Chicago for a day of museums and lunch. Very fun, no security. We had a limo van waiting to take us around for the day. Also told pilots to have wine chilled and dinner ready to go when we left to come home. It was about a 10 seat jet with 2 pilots.
Citation if I recall.

I flew on a Lear Jet, with room for about eight passengers, back in 1967, while I was in Europe. That was a flight from Oslo, Norway to Germany. It was owned by the Military, maybe NATO. It's been a long time ago. The most memorable event on the flight. The plane was getting low on fuel. We stopped at a base to fill up but they didn't have the fuel required. There was another Base eight miles away. Ever thought about taking an eight mile flight in a Jet. It was down the runway, into the air, a big circle, U-turn, and back to the ground.
I also traveled on Eisenhower's airplane, "Columbine" while on that trip. Flew from Frankfurt to Oslo.
Me and a shipmate, Michael Hayden, were on duty on a Polaris Missile Submarine, out of Rota Spain. We decided, after a patrol, we would spend a couple weeks in Europe. Since we were in a security risk operation, and the Soviet Union had spies in Europe, we were given orders to travel in civilian clothes. We were flying around Europe on Military HOPs. We had orders from the Navy to do such.
Each time we checked in at a Military Airport, even if crowded, we went to the front of the line. Even though we were enlisted men, since we were in Civie's, and had special orders, they thought we were VIPs.
On the flight to Oslo there were several NATO military officers on the flight. We had a good conversation with a young Lieutenant on the flight up. He invited us out to the Officers club for the evening. We assured him we didn't have the time. When the "Columbine" landed, he grabbed our luggage and carried it to the terminal.
Norway was a wonderful place for young men of the USA in those days.

All the time. Cj3, pc-12, tbm 850, Cessna 421, and my own vans rv (not all jets) If you like the convenient landing spots, try a helicopter. Land at the door. Don’t worry about a car.

I sold my Beechcraft 1900 in 2022. Just do Netjets now or fly Delta

Several times. I like the phenom 100 and 300.
I like the turbo prop king air 360 and 260s too.
All are good and comfortable once you are seated.
I have never been on a big private jet.

Company trip between Baton Rouge and Northwest ATL for a construction company. I don't know if it was their plane, or if they just booked it for the day. I think it may have sat 10 people. We flew up and back same day so I could install a router, printers, etc. I'll take a widebody any day over flying private. It was meh at the time.

Once for work - got last minute-d on a trip when someone dropped out.
Did not enjoy being able to see out of the front when landing.

A few times.
Phenom 300
Challenger
king air
All for work. In fact, I flew BTR on American to Dallas then to Ohio. Car picked me up at that airport and flew the challenger to Colorado then back to Ohio. All in one day. The following day, took the phenom to Michigan then back to Ohio. Then American to Florida. Next day commercial to Charlotte and challenger to Btr.
Private was with customers or C level coworkers. Commercial was just me.

we used to lease Morgan Freemans Citation for business trips.
Wasn't really "glamorous". But it allows you to get where you are going without wasting time in airports.
I would make 3 customers in 3 different cities that would take me the whole week flying commercial.

Father in-law took me and the other brother in-laws to Nebraska to play at Sand Hills. I have zero idea what we were on, but it was really awesome.

Citation company plane. I’m not even gonna lie, it was a lot of fun. Meet up, talk to the pilots, have a cup of coffee, then they ask if we are ready. I sat behind them and watched the instruments, learned a lot.
