My paternal grandfather died before I was born. My paternal grandmother died about 12 years ago. My maternal grandfather died 3 years ago, and my maternal grandmother is 86 years old.
I’m in my mid-thirties.

They are long gone...
I sure wish that I had asked more questions and listened more.. Instead of being just a freaking brat....

I come from an Italian family and we have spaghetti every sunday for lunch as long as I can remember. Man, what I would not give to have just one more sunday sitting around the table eating some sphagetti…

0 are still alive - my dads dad died when my dad was a kid
My other grandpa lived with us until he died (I was 11)
And both my grandmas lived into their 90s and died in my twenties
I even remember one of my great grandmas (the mom of my grandpa that lived with us)
I miss the ones I knew - but they are waiting for me - hopefully they will wait a while longer …

Just recently lost my last grandparent
I’m fixing to be 42
It is a blessing, it’s easy to get caught up in day to day stuff & get too busy to visit, try to visit / talk as much as you can, it’s really tough when they are gone

All 4 of my biological grandparents have passed away. I never met either of my grandfathers, and my paternal grandmother I only met when I was very young. I was close to my maternal grandmother until she died when I was 12.
Now, my adoptive father’s parents, I’ve known them ever since my Mom married my adoptive Dad when I was 3. My adoptive grandfather just passed away recently, and my adoptive grandmother is still alive.

I’m down to my Mawmaw who is 79 on my dad’s side. My pawpaw was 75 when he died in 2015, my grandpa on my mom’s side died when he was 107 in 2019. My grandma died when she was 100 in 2021.

One, and she is 93 - maternal grandmother. Maternal Grandfather died in 2010; paternal grandmother died in 1993, and paternal grandfather died in 1971 (before I was alive)

0. Lost fraternal grandparents in high school. Maternal grandparents in my 30's and 40's. Grew up on a farm and would take summer afternoon breaks at paternals house. She would always have some sweets. In mid 80's. Great memories

I had all 4 until I was 34 then lost both grandpas in a months time. That was rough and it still hurts.
