Several weeks ago there was a thread that included a wealth of advice on end of life planning. Topics such as a Transfer of Deed upon death. If that could be located again, I would mech appreciate it. Thanks

Drove from Kaplan thru Lake Arthur this afternoon. Saw several groups of geese on either side of Wright on the south side of 14. There's nothing compared to what used to be. Farming practices here and in the upper Midwest have changed drastically. Also habitat creation has exploded north of us. The rest of the flyway figured out this could be a big business. And we're left with scraps. Only about 30% of ducks migrate. The rest are pushed by weather. When ice and snow keep them from eating, they move. And go right back when thawed. So the majority of the flight never make it down here. And where the young ducks stop the first year is home for their next migrations. Hunted rice fields in Sweetlake and guided at the Coastal Club till 2019. Good luck in the morning. Let's go get some mo!
I used to guide at the Coastal Club and he would sit on his shell box on the bench. Bad knees!. Kinda hard to hide him in the blind. Watched his kids and grandkids grow up. Good people.
Just switched from Safeco to Allstate in Sulphur. Dropped from $7960 to $3900. Apples to apples comp. Kept vehicles w Progressive though. Safeco treated me right for Laura 2020. Doesn't matter who you have or switch to, they're all going up

2000 F250 4x4 6 speed 7.3 460,000 miles
Only thing I've done is change out the front end. Never touched engine, transmission or changed out the clutch. Been a great truck
Got quoted by Allstate for almost half of what I have now with Safeco. Similar coverage. Safeco treated me good for Laura and Delta but they're pricing themselves out. Will check w Goosehead on Monday. State Farm is not writing homeowners at the moment is this area.

2000 250 Powerstroke 463,000 still running. Never been in the engine. Redone the front end and could use some fresh paint
2000 F250 4x4 powerstroke 6 spd
458,000
Never changed the clutch. Bout to let someone else try to make it to a million. Just got a 2015 Fx4
0. Lost fraternal grandparents in high school. Maternal grandparents in my 30's and 40's. Grew up on a farm and would take summer afternoon breaks at paternals house. She would always have some sweets. In mid 80's. Great memories
In Industrial Pipe fabrication. Quotes only good for 2 days on pipe/valves/fittings. Alloys 6-8 wks. Paint is 3-4 wks out. Hotshot service from Houston to SWLA is insane. And the customers don't care. Build it as fast as you can.
Had Safeco for Laura last year and they were pleasant to work with. Sent h2o/mold remediation company. Took care of all damages and 3 supplemental claims.
The best year guiding at The Coastal Club north of Creole was 06-07 after Rita in 05. Missed a 3 man limit only 3 days out of 60. The marsh rolled; new and different vegetation. It was a blast.. Not that way anymore though
Home school 4 kids from 9-16 yrs old. Participants in sports, 4-H, church. Well rounded kids

There were sightings of 2 of them after Hurricane Rita south of Vinton in the marsh/ICCW levee. We saw one at the Coastal Club the following winter.
