Never met my dad’s parents. Maternal grandfather died in 2010 and grandmother 2014.

Maternal grandfather died when I was like 4 or 5. I have very few memories of him but at least do have some.
Paternal grandfather I never really knew but he died in the mid 90s I believe.
Maternal grandmother died when I was 21 or so. Never was close close with her but I miss her sometimes.
Paternal grandmother is 98 and still kicking, and she’s fricking awesome. And I will not handle that very well when she does pass. Not at all.

Grandmother only.
She is like 95. Tough old lady. They don't make em like that anymore.

Grandparents long dead, father and FIL too, glad they are not alive to see this shitshow. Mother 86 is still going strong and will probably outlive me.

I had positive memories of my grandfathers but was quite young when they both passed away.
My paternal grandmother I knew very well and had a great realationship with her. When she passed away, it wasn’t exactly a sad moment for me because she had dementia and was really struggling.
Coming to terms with the situation in her final 2 years was much more difficult than the death. She was filing her own taxes at 89 and struggling to remember our names just two and a half years later.

zero. They all died in about a five year stretch from 2006-2011. It seemed like it was one after the other as a kid still in high school. I cried like a baby at every one of the funerals
Thanks for the depressing thread baw

0. Knew them all very well and miss them daily. Even knew my great grandmother. Long lives on both sides.

None but I think about them every day.

My parents were the youngest in their families by many years. I knew 3 of my grandparents. I wish I’d been old enough to have known to ask them the questions I have today.

Both paternal grandparents still alive. Grandma is in nursing home. She's doing better since. Grandpa is going strong. Might outlive my dad.

None but both my grand mothers died when I was in my 40s. One lived to 94 one 102. My great grand father and grand mother died when I was in my 20s. He lived to 103 (1883-1986) and her 97. Kinda hard to imagine my great gradpa was around in 1883 when Tim McGraw was killing indians on his way to Montana
