You know a bunch of crappy dudes.
Yes, I married my wife because I wanted to get married. I bought a ring because I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I haven't regretted that decision for a single day

If i wouldn't of wanted to get married i wouldn't have? Lmao pretty easy decision...

Granted, I wanted to and still one of the best decisions I could've made. Got a cool arse wife and a cool arse kid. Would do it again 10/10 times.

All the guys I know that got married when they were older got married because she wore him down and he finally capitulated.

If you don’t want to marry her, have the stones to tell her and risk her walking away.

Hollywood has mind-tricked us into believing this is how it should work.

I don't know a single guy that got married because it was his idea.

Most of the time, it will be the woman’s idea. If the guy takes the idea and executes, he still initiated the marriage.

So, no. Any dude who got married and didn’t want to is a spineless, weak man who is deceiving his wife and himself in a terrible way.

Happily married because I was ready to settle down. Dated all kinds of girls and figured out what worked best for me and what didn’t.

So I was already older when I met my wife. Dating in your 30s-40s is much different. You don’t waste as much time figuring out if it’s a good match. You know more quickly.

It takes personal maturity to decide to get married, though. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want a family with this person.

Honestly if you’ve been with someone long enough and you’re still having to hope and pray she says yes, you probably ain’t with the right one.

Just curious what percentage of married men actually wanted to ger married

I knew after a couple dates she was who I wanted to marry even though we met when I was 17 and she was 15. It took 4 to figure out how to make it happen. We'll be married 25 years next week.

I met my wife when I was 20 and married her 10 months later. I found a woman that was incredibly beautiful, way better looking than me, has an amazing personality, can cook like you can’t imagine and thought I was the greatest thing in the world. We’ve been married for 33 years and I can remember the last time we had a cross word. She is a joy to be around all these years later. Yes, I actually wanted to get married and I’d do it all over again.

Looks like you are over the hump. I give you 70% odds of being spared of a messy financial divorce going forward.
