Came home each summer and knocked out 15 semester credits while also working. One summer interned under Mike Graham at WAFB while Jay Grymes was just learning the ropes (he was the state climatologist working at LSU at the time).

I sold programs for the football games when I was in high school, father and Grandfather were Marshall's for the football game.
Growing up my dad brought us home a football and tear away jersey from the Bama sideline.
My Uncle was a cheerleader for the 1958 National Championship team and my grandfather made up the cheer "Hot boudin cold couscous..." cheer.
And I graduated in 1997!

Moved home and got married, finished at USL in Mechanical Engineering.
Had 2 kids and working on an ex-wife by the time I graduated in 89. Possibly the longest route to a Bachelor of Science in recorded history
