It will stop when young people start noticing the awful looking smudges on their parents that were once their pride and joy.

Now that the fad has expanded beyond the undesirables of society, it will finally attract the research into determining whether injecting carcinogenic ink into your skin actually causes long term health effects or not.
They also need to figure out whether the carcinogens being found in their internal organs are a result of getting carcinogenic ink injected in the skin.
Once the connection becomes more conclusive, tattoos will become the next cigarettes. Most will find it self destructive, but self destructive personalities, and body dysmorphia types will still be attracted to it.

One of the places I have to frequent for work has this really good looking woman, sexy voice, always smells great. The one knock on her is her tattoos. They're not bad, they're not all over her, it's just not my type of thing.

They are already "not cool" but accepted because so many have them.

My boss made a fortune off of Tattoo removal. Interesting fact is that most people get tattoos removed to get another one.

There's certain tattoos that make me laugh, like on scars and injuries, and cancer stuff. I can deal with that

Tattoos on women are like hiking through a forest and finding litter. They serve as a constant reminder that you are not the first one to be there.

It’s more of a marker for trauma that was understood by society except back then it was sorry you went to jail or thank you for going to war Nowadays it’s “sorry your dad wasn’t around” or “wow you must be really mad at your parents for bringing you to church”
Best response I’ve seen in awhile . lol scary accurate and well put
