If we had a complete lockdown you wouldn’t need any money until it’s over. You aren’t going to need to pay rent or mortgage and there would be nowhere to spend money. Maybe just have a small amount set aside for if you want to get into pay porn sites.

I can work from home, so I actually would come out ahead due to saving on gas (I have one of the longer commutes among those in the office).

Forever, I work from home and in healthcare, so I'm solid there. My wife also works in healthcare, but even if her clinic was deemed non-essential, we could live off of my income alone.

It depends on if bill paying would be suspended or not, how much I could get for selling my kids, whether or not I enjoy the taste of dog meat, etc.

Wonder why the government hasn’t loosened restrictions on borrowing from 401k if you’re under age 59. Should they be able to waive the 10% penalty and tax implications?

a couple years before i start wondering when work is gonna pick back up. My bills run about 700 a month, though. I'm not a baller, just frugal.

if things did get bad I could shed expenses and just take the credit rating hit. could extend for another year or 2 if i got real small

cash on hand enough for a year could stretch it longer if i had to I think. Worst comes to worse would go to farm in south ga. and hang out with the folks in the country.

My wife works from home, and judging by this week I'll be considered essential, plus we have about 6-7 months income in savings, so... we're good.
