It is consistently rated as one of the best in the country.

Food is very good. Quality rides for adults and younger kids.

Only negative for me was that I went during the winter and some of the rides were too cold for operation. Which obviously isn't the park's fault.

Like everyone has already stated, it's a good time.

I used to go back when it was still Silver Dollar City, before Dolly bought it. Grew up in SE KY, so we could do it as a day trip. It has gotten bigger since then, more rides, more visitors. Haven't been in a few years though. Crowds are starting to work my nerves.

Dollywood is better than Disney. Better rides with less wait times.

Dollywood is the GOAT of theme parks by far.
Coasters are legit.
Lightning rod and wild eagle are 2 of the best I ever been on.
Great food options. Cinnamon bread is amazing.
Lot of other attractions and everything is pretty close. One big loop

Has anyone said that Dollywood is the greatest place ever yet?

Because it is. I’d live there. Gburg and Pigeon Forge area is tops of my list.

My retirement plan is to run a fudge place, maybe own a pancake house as well.

You might want to also look into making some confederate flag t-shirts

I enjoy the area but try to largely avoid the tourist parts. Been 7-8 years since we've been though.

its extremely corrupted by wokeness, but for the most part, its more tolerable then at most parks so i give it a thumbs up and not the worst place for kids

We went in July & really enjoyed it. Fun rides for toddlers and adults. Parking was easy. We went on a weekday and lines weren’t bad.

If you have any Forged In Fire type fans, they have a blacksmith where you can sign up to forge a knife. That was my teenager’s favorite part of the trip.

I have been a few times. It is a fun way to spend the day I was there one day when it was freezing cold and got soaked on a water ride but I don’t hold that against them.

It’s great for what it is. Not nearly on the level of Disney or Universal, but way more affordable. I think you really get your money’s worth there. And Dolly is a national treasure. She can have my money over those POS corporations.

I'm currently living in Sevierville... Dollywood is a legit experience.

If you spend any time here, Wilderness in the Smokies, and The Island are both worth checking out, as well...

Love it great family fun. Also dicks last resort and Dixie stampede are must eat places while you’re in town.

Never been to Dollywood, I have been to Disney when I was younger.

If I had to pick one of the two to go to, it would be Dollywood.

Awesome. The kids absolutely love it. That is their requested end of summer/back to school trip destination. Roller coasters are great. My daughter loves the Wild Eagle and Lightning Rod is my son's. Great, great place.

It was a nice park besides the insane crowds over thanksgiving. That actually made it miserable. I didn’t get to ride a single ride. Every wait was an hour. The train was 1.5 hours.

Some people may not mind the crowds but I loathe them. If I went again I’d go in the middle of the week during an off season

Headed there tomorrow. Hopefully the kids are back in school

It’s like a more country version of Six Flags, but in a good way. Definitely worth the trip. Rides were great, and if you go around Halloween or Christmas the decorations are awesome.
