Not the airport but the metro area. The highways are spotless and surface streets mostly free of litter. Houston is noticeably dirtier and Louisiana is a landfill in comparison.

That's Texas in general in comparison to Louisiana.

Lower concentration of trashy people. First thing I noticed when we moved here.

It's mighty reckless to mess with Texas.

This. And the 'burbs are even better. Keller, Southlake, Grapevine, Colleyville in Tarrant County and Frisco, Plano, Prosper, Celina, McKinney in Denton/Collin. North Texas is an excellent place to raise a family.

When I lived in Dallas my neighborhood had its own unit of workers that kept the area clean. It was awesome

It's the most conservative of the 4 major Texas metros.

Houston, Austin, San Antonio are all dirty AF

Easy when it's all concrete and you have an endless supply of immigrants with leaf blowers.

Even better!

Rat race
Cement everywhere
Palpitatingly competitive aroma
Seasoning your soul is nowhere in sight
Joy is optional, materiality is not

Beware of the “Even better” Texas definition

It's not just DFW, it's everywhere not in Louisiana. First thing I noticed when moving to Tennessee too. Florida was the same way.
