I like cold coffee too. Just not that sweet sugary soy boy bullshite. Coffee should taste like coffee.

Cold brew isn’t sweet and sugary

Unless you make it that way

for the same reason that smoothie king offers a 900 calorie smoothie and markets themselves a health food option...people are stupid and selfish and will lie to themselves to get what they want.

Just brew some Dunkin Donuts decaf at home and hit it with a little sweet creamer and I’m good.

Even though, Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites are fricking delicious.

Has Starbucks tricked anyone into anything? I dont think they remotely try to pass their pumpkin spice lattes or mocha frappuccinos as healthy

I'm wiht you in that they aren't misleading people in any way, but I can see where the OP is coming from as well. Starbucks isn't pretneding to be healthy but I don't think the average person (female especially) realizes just how terrible health-wise many of their drinks are. But again that's not on starbucks, that's on the lazy consumer.

Same with smoothie king, subway, and any number of other places that people think is "healthy" when it really is so not.

I make my own. Its great. Dark roast coffee, but only use half the water. Let cool off to room temp before storing in fridge.

almond cream + no sugar caramel syrup on weekdays

St Brendaans Irish crème + jameson on weekend (GOAT drink for morning golf)

I have a sensitivity to caffeine (causes benign heart palps). Gives me just enough caffeine for a kick but not so much to cause issues.

Coffee should be hot, black and bitter. It’s not a dessert. It’s a cup of anger to kick start your arse. It should taste like this
