How does the OT feel about Botox?

Wife talks about getting botox all the time. I tell her not to put that shite in her face...Her reasoning " I just want to remove some of the wrikles "
I'm totally against it. Look, you're supposed to look old..that's the whole point of getting old. If you're blessed with tight 20 year old skin your whole life into your 40's good for you...but shoving botox in your face to get rid of forehead wrinkles as we age is just absurd. It's obviously really popular but I'm just not on board.
I understand some people have the injections done for medical reasons but this is strictly for cosmetics. Am I wrong for putting my foot down about this?

I wouldn’t have the nerve to do it…

What's even more absurd is "preventative botox" to not just remove wrinkles but prevent them

The problem is going overboard with it. Which generally happens because she will always have to go back to get more as she ages.

You do you, let her do her. My wife gets it, no big deal at all. Not like getting your lips injected to look like a duck.

Nope…but most women do it. My wife does not. Only thing she does is dye her hair.

I’m afraid of it so I spend too much on skincare instead. I have a lot of friends who do it. None of them go overboard and can still move their faces so it looks really normal and natural. Maybe one day I’ll get brave. I think she should do it. I bet it will be very subtle.
I luckily don’t seem to move my eyebrows much so my forehead hasn’t become an issue yet.

Botox generally isn’t what makes people look fake & plastic. Those are fillers. I haven’t had Botox (yet), but my friends have had it & it looked great. Just made their faces look a little more relaxed.

One of the ladies that my wife works with just got botox and has been trying to lie about it. Her whole face looks fake now.

I’m getting pretty tired of seeing lip fillers, but my wrinkly arse forehead could prob use some Botox.

I’d pick another battle with the wife. Let her “win” this one.

I thought the whole point of getting old was not dying.

This is my thing. I married you for you, I don't care if your skin gets old and wrinkly, I mean I'm going to be the same way. What I do care about is if you look like some balloon animal of your old self.
It's been a hot topic in our household. She hasn't done it or I would know. Not to mention like someone else said it's a gateway drug. You go once you'll want to go again and again.

Dana Loesch is fine as frog hair but she has completely paralyzed her face
