My grandfather was a barber. So I was in my 30’s before I had to ask for a haircut. I told the new barber that, then said to cut it shorter.
He did and I’ve liked it. I asked what should I say next time? He said “ short but not too short”. I’ve been doing that ever since. Only two people to have ever cut my hair

Did that for years, until one girl told me what I wanted was a bald fade. It's even better.

#2 to top of the ears and then a low fade leave the top long so I can comb it back, and line everything up box in the back.
