24, went out and partied the night before. Actually walked in as pencils were being handed out.

Plenty good enough for state schools and LSU, the only places I was considering. Never thought about taking it again.

I've found it interesting that so many people want to let us all know what they did the night before they took the exam. Booze, football game, whatever...

I just said the reason why I forgot my calculator and had to borrow a pencil.

Honestly though, even with the calculator, my score in math probably would have only gone from 12 to like, 20.

Doubt the others would have changed much. I just knew how to take those types of tests.

Remember that ACT changed the test system in 1989 (Enhanced ACT). As a result of the changes, scores increased by approximately 2 points on average.

For me...I took it in 1985 and made a 25.

31 2nd time.

And I studied my dick off and took like 30 practice tests to get that. I think 27 first time without much prep.

Ended up going to Ole Miss anyway

There were some kids I knew with ADD who got to take it untimed and got 27's, 29's, 31's...

I always thought that was bullshite.

ETA: As a senior. I took it for the first time as a sophomore and got a 23 followed by two 24s my junior year and then I took a prep class before my 28 score.

GRE 75th percentile in Verbal, 25th percentile in Quantitative.

I don't math very well, outside of basic college algebra

ETA: I think I was around 60th percentile when I took the GMAT.

I didn't take prep classes for any of the standardized tests (ACT, GRE, or GMAT).
