If I were Peter Thiel, I'd get citizenship in every country that made sense from a tax standpoint, as a hedge.

Link me a post where I have praised Kamala or Biden

Some of you are so thin skinned and soft. I’ve never voted for a Democrat in my life.

Same, but he is also living there and funded the new presidents campaign so he didnt just gain citizenship to have it. He is trying to use his billions to create his own government and make it a safe-haven.

Agreed, but my main point is this isn't some mass migration of US billionaires because Argentina is so amazing right now.

wtf are you talking about. How else are they getting tickets?

Some of the tickets are bought by actual supporters at face value (likely the people OP is referring to) and some are bought by bots/scalpers for insane resale.

The face value on the tix isn’t bad, but it is hard to imagine working class South Americans being able to afford tix at the resale prices.

What fifa has allowed with the resale situation is shameful

Yes it is bad. Nose bleed seat face value was at best $250.

This is not true. I registered for tix in the $175 category in Los Angeles and I believe there was an even cheaper tier available.

Ok, maybe I'm remembering wrong, or maybe it just depended on the stadium...but Houston and Dallas didn't have anything less than $175 ish. I'm still sour about not getting any tickets after entering every lottery.

Not yet anyway.

Given your perpetual meltdown, it is just a matter of time.

You do you though.

Was in Atlanta a week or so ago and was going to take three teens to a WC game. Set a budget of 2k, Tickets alone were 1100 per when I checked three days prior. It was the Congo v Uzbekistan. Needless to say I skipped on em.

Also, given how absolutely awesome this WC has been, even $250 is a steal and totally within the realm of affordability for a serious fan.

It’s the $2k per seat resale that’s insane.
