How can all these poor countries afford World Cup tickets

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m shocked that all of these South American fans can afford tickets/hotels to absolutely pack these stadiums out.

Maybe they don’t have a scumbag online ticketing racket like we do here in the states that are run by Ticketmaster and StubHub

the countries futball org. gets an allotment,, they resell them to the families or the colonizers / callaborators who fled.. while the people suffer

Obviously. But this is 70k people paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars to see these games. It’s not just a crew of rich oligarchs
My point is I would bet the majority of these fans used basically all of their money to buy tickets.

There is a layer of rich parasites in most poor countries. Plenty enough to fill a few stadiums.

They are poor compared to us but places like Mexico and Colombia are middle of the road compared to the globe. They still have wealthy people and poor people. They aren't developing countries, but upper middle income countries.

Every country has a pyramid of wealth.. they have lots of people that save and plan for years… most countries aren’t dirt poor… they have plenty of disposable money

I was in Vegas this past Christmas. I never knew there were that many Asians in the world that must be multi multi millionaires with the amount of money they were throwing around. Completely packed with them
